Rotabroach Mag Drill Cutter 34mm Long Series – SRCL340 Rotabroach’s unique M2 high speed steel cutter. Designed forlow wear and high performance. Perfect for general engineering,construction and fabrication for material with a hardness less than700N/mm. FEATURES: Tighter shank tolerance than other brands. A smaller shanktolerance will reduce cutter concentricity when in rotation thusreducing the chance of breakages 20 Degree clearance angle which reduces vibration in holecutting Each cutter has a batch code consisting of: Material batch,Heat treatment process, Production process and Date ofmanufacture M2 material has a hardness of HRC63-65 Heat treatment – With Step-hardening process. The hardness onthe teeth is HRC65-67 while the shank is HRC50-60. This can reducecutter breakage significantly as it becomes less brittle 4.6mm wall thickness (more than other brands) which providesthe cutter with more strength. Wider dish increases friction which is why Rotabroach have anadditional 0.15mm step. This design gives increased strength butwith reduced friction. This also gives better swarf
